Iโm guessing a knitting/crochet group of women. I finally googled it. It was a women's drumming group.

I also had questions, but googling it felt icky I was sitting right next to her but only asked about the back of the sign that said something about Maisieโs mom coaching a Norris hs team at state. Maisie gave her a ๐ซถ๐ป Field Hockey

Merritt Beason reminds me of Morena Baccarin When she did the 'cosy with the cornhuskers' podcast episode, that was one of the remarks she commented on. She had no clue who Morena Baccarin was.

Mauch spending a lot of time behind the service line again. She is becoming a real problem for opponents back there. Love to see it. Husker serve had another good game overall. Not flashy, but very effective. Loved her kick up of the ball on third (fourth?) touch late in set 3.

I thought oregon looked really good. Nice offense. Nebraska defense came up big tonight. Offensively, nebraska had a Medicore night. Middles need to make more of an impact. They ๐'d in on beeson. Harper and Landfair did well. . Mauch is great. As is choboy. Seems I've heard Oregon is known for a strong block, so that may have been a factor in slowing down Merb. I see the box score shows 7.0 team blocks vs 6.0 for the Huskers, so maybe block touches had more to do with it. Merb was 6-4-24, so not really high error, also suggesting block touches as a factor--but I don't watch with a level of sophistication that would have confirmed.

The Go Big Red chants are everything. Yeah, at the Husker away matches my wife and I have attended there aren't usually enough Husker fans to make the home clapping routine very audible, so the GBR is a lot more effective.

The amount of Nebraska fans there is impressive The Nebraska diaspora is real. They showed signs from two different groups of fans that were there because they can't get tickets at the Bob. That's us too, especially when Nebraska visits venues in our locale (e.g., West Lafayette, Bloomington, Champaign, Louisville).

Haven't seen any comments on the Tiktoks with John Cook that they showed on the broadcast. They were hilarious, but I absolutely *died* on the one that had three Huskers lined up behind him who ended up rolling on the floor during Cook's "dancing".
Gotta add that I'd probably look just as goofy--despite almost 20 years of ballroom dance lessons, those "modren" dances are not my forte.

I thought set 3 was closer than the score indicated. OR had a key injury 2 days before the match. A bit of a reverse when these teams met in the 2022 NCAA tournament, when NE's co-captain DS, Kenzie Knuckles, was lost to injury 2 weeks prior.

Merritt had a nightmare Game 2 with 4 errors (I think), but was just average the other two games. Had a couple important kills during the run to pull away in Game 3.
