📜 Since 1984, Mizzou is 11-10 and 6-4 at home against Georgia. The teams split the series 1-1 with home wins last year and are 5-5 in the last 10. This is the only regular season meeting between the teams in 2024. 📜 Since 2012, Mizzou is 10-8 and 6-2 at home gainst South Carolina. The Gamecocks have won 6 of the last 10, and the Tigers' 4-set win at home last season ended a 5-match losing streak. This is the only regular season meeting between the teams in 2024.

It's fun timing that both of Missouri's matches are televised this week after coming out of Austin with a win and becoming a serious contender for SEC champion. Like "Hey look at me! Watch me before the tournament comes along so you're not surprised if I upset a team."
Massey is slow to give too much love to the Tigers but they shot up to 16 in the Evollve rankings.
Maybe not this week, but I feel like Georgia has an upset in them. After Mizzou they have Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, and Florida.

Mizzou preview article added and it was a good one if you like knowing who is calling games. Otherwise just some promotion event info that I added to the first post if you care. A lot of programs entice students with free food which who doesn't love? A free Mizzou water bottle is rather nice and practical though. Georgia has been a sleeping giant for far too long, and I'm hoping they don't wake up tonight. Georgia has only been swept once in conference play, but they have not won on the road yet either.

This is an interesting middle of the week match up ... not sure who should be favored here since the match is in Columbia RPI futures has Mizzou at 16 and Georgia at 95. There's plenty of talent on both rosters though and Georgia has dealt with injury just as much as anyone this season. |

Here live and watching Sophie in warm ups is insane lol I know it’s a team sport and they've been bit by the injury bug this year, but it kind of surprises me Fischer hasn’t carried Georgia on her back to at least one ranked/receiving vote win. That’s just how good I think she is. Enjoy the match! |
