📜 Since 1978, Pitt is 16-6 against UNC and 7-1 at home. After joining the ACC in 2013, Pitt lost 3 of their first 4 conference matches against the Tar Heels but have not lost since 2015. This is the only regular season meeting between the teams in 2024. 📜 Since 2016, UNC is 2-0 against SMU, having a neutral win in 2016 and road win in 2021. This is the first ever ACC matchup between the teams and the only one on the regular season schedule for 2024.

Some confusion over start time for UNC @ Pitt. ESPN app has it at 7pm EST and so does the UNC schedule. ACC schedule website and Pitt schedule says 6pm EST. Only some student tickets left for Pitt's home matches this weekend vs UNC and Duke. http://instagram.com/p/DB9ZwcsSAA6 |

The game is at 6 EST. It had to be moved to earlier in the day because there is a basketball game at the Pete that night.
Shaffmaster vs. Pitt is going to be fun.

Preview articles added to the first post as well as some minor updates to rankings. The last time the Tar Heels faced the #1 team was in 2010 vs. Penn State (0-3). Their highest-ranked win as a program was #2 Wisconsin in 2016 (3-2).   |

UNC offense is actually clicking well (0.279), but Pitt is hitting 0.419.
