#3 Central Arkansas holds on to beat #6 North Florida 15-12 UCA were down 6-10 but went on a 6-0 run to get ahead 12-10 These two teams opened up the conference season with their lone match in which UCA won in four. Also their first ever semifinals appearance

#4 Hofstra defeats #5 North Carolina A&T 3-0
Third sweep for Hofstra over NC A&T. Also overall good showing for both teams this season. Voted 7th (Hofstra) and 11th (NC A&T) in the preseason poll and neither team made the conference tournament last year.
Izadora Stedile led Hofstra with 10 kills (.133) & 17 digs and as a team they held to NC A&T to a -.011 hitting percentage

(#8) Iona took set 1 over (#5) Sacred Heart and is up big early in set 2, 9-3! Iona up 2-0 and huge in the 3rd and lets Sacred Heart creep back in all the way to the finish. 24-23 Iona T/O after Sacred Heart saves two match points! Iona hangs on! I love conference tournament season, but I don't enjoy watching so many tears from the losing teams

#8 Iona sweeps #5 Sacred Heart after SHU fought off three match points
These teams only met once in conference play where Sacred Heart swept Iona almost two months ago (Sept. 29)
Taylor Timko had 11 kills (.217) & Grave Ehler (.423) led Iona with 12 kills
Camryn Luginbuhl for Sacred Heart had a match-high 17 kills (.308) and Miliana Villarreal had 17 digs
