Live stats are having a bad day. It refreshes to 21-16, but then reverts to 16-13. It appears that Clark is 7-0-12 and somehow Osunsanmi is 0-4-6....  |

San Diego had a 23-17 lead. Pepperdine has scored three times to close to 20-23. TO USD. I can't remember Osunsanmi having a match like this: 0-5-7 now. Obviously Pepp focused their scouting report more on her than on Clark!

Osunsanmi can't buy a kill and USD is stuck in this rotation with bad passing and having to keep chucking it out to her. Now tied at 23.
Another Osunsanmi error gives Pepperdine an improbably set point at 24-23 after a 7-0 scoring run.
Clark gets a kill to tie it at 24

Both teams have been struggling with serve receive.
Stoner did not get a single swing in the first set!
Osunsanmi had 6 errors, no kills. No other USD players had any hitting errors. Hopefully she can find her rhythm in the second set.

Pepperdine has maintained a few point lead throughout the second set. Now up 22-19.
Isabel Clark at 13-0-26 is completely carrying USD. (Also USD has a large black hole in the middle of their defense...)
Pepperdine ties the match at 1-1 with a 25-21 second set win.

Osunsanmi finally got her first kill after 8 errors and 19 swings.
USD cruised to the third set win 25-16.
Clark is still killing it with 19 kills no errors on 43 swings.
