It does appear that Damrow passes a really high ball on serve receive. Idk if that’s good or bad, usually depends on setter, but it appears she passes higher than others. I remember an article on Schumacher saying she had to learn how to pass high when she came to Wisconsin. Perhaps Damrow had really taken that lesson to heart having been here longer lol |

the video of Lola getting hit in warmups didn't look high impact, a little surprised they put her in protocol The impact isn't everything. She obviously was showing concussion signs and it hit her in an odd spot. yeah, the ones that don’t look high impact often seem to be worse. I’ve had 3 concussions and the one I got hit the “easiest” was a play very similar to that and it ended up being the worst one I had, out for 2.5 months |

There were like a bunch of "not it" posts going to town on Damrow literally halfway into the first set lol while I was defending her, but you want to focus on me going off on Booth for having a terrible match and literally leaving seams wide open the entire night? Asking for Booth to be benched is literally just asking for Sheff to do what he says, that anytime one of his three middles is having a bad game he can bring in another one. He literally has stated this multiple times publicly but has pulled Booth like once even as she's been hovering under .300 for most of the season and being super late to close seams the entire way. Yes, I'm not going to praise every Wisconsin players every match lmao. But even in this same game thread, I have multiple posts praising Chan, Damrow, Anna, Sarah because they played well. When I criticize, I use stronger language and are more insistent than most on here, so be it. But I don't criticize anything else besides their plays, that's the line. If this is "how negative" lmao, have you ever wandered off into a college football or college basketball forum? Meanwhile we have posters in the Wisconsin thread going off because Wisconsin players attended a Harris rally, but you want to focus on me stating that Booth is leaving gaps and was a large weakness Nebraska focused on to tear us up? Sorry I'm not a sunshine all the time lol. |

I just got back to my hotel.... a decent match tonight... Anna dented that 'wooden' floor. Charlie keeps getting better set by set.
I am looking forward to the matches on Wednesday and Saturday.

What I really liked about this performance is that Charlie got better as the match went on. She got her connections going during the match that were not working early on. We did not see that earlier in the year.

While I was looking for it I found a cool replay of an Oz solo block, you can find that at the 1 hr 24 minute mark, the score was 14 - 10 Badgers up in the 4th. CC was impressed. Also, if you're like me and just want to watch CC doing CC things, you'll want to go to the 41:30 minute mark with the Badgers up 17 - 13 in the second. |

I really have to watch one more year of Booth being late to everything smh Hopefully Serifinowska and/or Wardlow can provide a stabilizing presence next year. Middles will be the biggest question mark. Who knows? Maybe we bring one in from the portal as we have 4 more players Coach would like to add. |
