There's one thing UC SD cannot train for - the 8th (wo)man factor:
Their most "hostile" away games numbered in the low 1000s. Now they have to face Hawaii... on Senior Night. Easy 5,000 turnstile at minimum

I'm happy to see UCSD challenging for a top seed this year. They have a beautiful campus, very good athletic facilities, and academics that rival former California PAC schools UCLA and Berkeley. A great place to play college volleyball.

wahine teams, in the past, have sometimes been distracted by senior week planning and festivities. so it was nice to see their focused play last night. hope it keeps going tonight!
ucsd ... could be looking to make up for the loss earlier in the week to the beach. lost in 5 to hawaii a little over a month ago ... and beat ucsd in 5 two weeks ago ... so they're more than capable of taking this one.
