It's really the setting. Simpson setting horribly so far this set. Passing has been exceptional...and hitters have no real choices or get completely missed. The usual! Looking forward to next year. Hope that freshmen setter coming in is good, or might need a grad transfer. She is very good. So good that there is rumor that Simpson might transfer if she is allowed another year from NCAA. New setter also plays OH for her HS team and is apparently very good at that too. |

Maybe a modified 5-2/6-2 with her setting and hitting, if a graduate setter comes in too. |

Iowa State takes the 3rd set, 25-17, led by Deronde with 12 kills. 5 all in the 4th.

CU finish in 4, led by Burilovic with 17 kills. Nice to see all pins in positive numbers.

Despite Simpson's bad setting in sets 3 and 4 (she was fine in the 1st two sets), CU wins it.
Colorado's passing was VERY GOOD for the most part, and they found a way not to get many kills in the last 2 sets (bad sets), but good serving and blocking pulled through along with some smart swings.
