Wasn’t Phelan hitting a topspin serve early in the season? I wonder why she went away from it She had too many errors and he didn’t want her and Koenig potentially missing too many in a row. He’s gutless. No risk, no reward. |

I saw Head's stats recently and was shocked she didn't have a better season He doesn’t use her like she got to play at Arkansas. Being an undersized pin, she needs a lot of attempts to get a feel for the block and defense. And her sets need to be more precise. Not getting either at FSU. Also, Poole has a short leash as far as errors are concerned. He yanks her if she doesn’t get off to a good start. I couldn’t imagine Head getting benched at Arkansas, but, apparently Poole knows better ….. |
