would she really pass Babcock though? I mean I stan but she missed some time. if she’s able to pull her blocks up to like 0.7 and miraculously gets them to the FF then maybe I mean if she gets Florida there (and keeps up her stats) then surely yes? She's #2 in the NCAA in points/set (5.94 compared to 5.66 for Babcock) She's hitting .368 compared to .317 for Babcock and that's with Mary's setter carousel and not with a first team AA setter and a future first team AA outside.

Babcock also has to share offensive duties with Torrey Stafford. The fact that she can still be so strong is a testament to her dominance. I love Torrey and what she has been able to do from the left side. Her numbers are incredible for an OH.

Given it’s a marketing tool and not an actual list I don’t think there’s any way they leave Madi Skinner out Plus they’ll get rage bait engagement from whoever/whichever team didn’t make it lol

DeLeye was snubbed. You can't tell me she's not one of the top 15 players in the country. Wow.

DeLeye was snubbed. You can't tell me she's not one of the top 15 players in the country. Wow. Who is she better than? One of the setters? Every single pin on that list + Sis hits at a higher clip with similar or more kills, digs more balls, and blocks more balls. In the latter two categories she’s shockingly lacking.

but this is wacky — i know she’s had a weird season, but she is pretty undeniably a top player in the country. sad Her stats don't measure up (not even close), what is "wacky" about that? We're choosing NPOY based on brand names now? No one's denying she's one of the top players in the country, maybe even the top, but you need stats for awards. There is nothing "snubbing" about that. Like what has she done this year to deserve a spot on 1st-team AA?
