AZ take the 3rd 25-21 led by Wilson with 9 kills, even though she was subbed out that set. Johnson and Vanek came in and made a positive difference.

AZ got the sweep over WVU led by Wilson with 13 kills. WVU missed their starting left, Tanton, for the 2nd match in a row.

Zona is such a better team than even 3 weeks ago. They are definitely better, but it's also a fact that 3 weeks ago they were playing almost all ranked teams. Of their first 12 league matches, 9 were against teams that are currently ranked. (Utah wasn't ranked when they played the first time but was a week or two after.) They went 2-7 against those ranked teams and 1-2 against the unranked teams in that stretch. Fortunately for them, Kansas was the last ranked opponent they have to face and they got that win. |
