Morris can get heat up, so I can see why people liked her so much, but I'm really not a fan of her dig location. And she's a solid passer but our standards for liberos are so high at Oregon.

So this is why we never saw any subs at DS.

What are the Cats doing? Don’t they know they are supposed to play like the dutiful senior night opponent that they are?

That last block from Glover looked more like the first month of the season.

Ducks eek out S3 after nearly giving it away. Yikes!

Too close for comfort especially on your senior night.

Set 4 looking comfortable . . . finally.
The Turkish OH is pretty solid, but she's tiny.

Just let Onye serve at this point.

Good final set from Glover. But that was really gross. Too many service errors. A lot of bad blocking (but we got a good number of stuffs too). Meh passing but poor play on first contact defensively. Cline needs to be better bumpsetting or setting on the move.
hopefully, we were just focused on Sunday's match.

Team has definitely gotten into a funk, maybe because of the injuries, maybe because weaknesses are glaring. I mean, they will just have to do what they can at this point, late in the season. I do think the only elite arms we have are Mimi and Onye. The setters just have to look for them at least 75% of the time. The shot selection, finesse and power from the others are just not it at this level.

Wasn't our cleanest match, but played just well enough to win, I guess. Ohwobete had a nice night with 20 kills. Will need Mimi and Onye to step it up in Sunday's match.

We are gonna lose on Sunday if we play this way. Did you watch USC vs Wisconsin? I think Oregon will be just fine Sunday.

Last night was pretty rough, but a win is a win! Everything seemed just a little off - could be injuries, could be new dynamics/mix of players on the floor, could be the pressure of senior night. Michelle had a good night offensively but struggled a bit with passing, which is hard when she and Morris were often passing 2. Cline’s connections with the hitters was off, specifically in the middle - multiple missed connections or sets that had to be tipped with the left hand, etc. It seems Gregoire didn’t have surgery but was on crutches in a boot (not bearing weight at all) so she’s likely out indefinitely. Daley was without her crutches but was limping and seemed to have a small brace/band on her knee, so possibly knee surgery? Gould had a cast on her left hand/wrist and Maya didn’t play but was dressed, with a heavily wrapped/bandaged wrist as well. 🤞 for no more injuries!
