Robyn is challenging that the McDonalds attack went out In my opinion, I would have liked to see Robyn slow down the game before UCI got into the 20s but she is the HBIC! 100%

Piss poor game overall
Serve receive was trash and we made dumb errors
I was so stoked we had an amazing RPI. It’s in the tubes now

If the 'Bows don't make it to the NCAA's this year, they can probably point to this match as the reason. Sigh...

UCR upset UCSB, so this win puts UCI in the Big West tournament. The Wahine may have to face them again.

At least Hawaii is getting reps in the UCI gym since that is where the tournament is taking place. Time to get something going to claim the Big West championship.

What a fantastic effort by UCI. They caused a lot of issues for Hawaii and it started with tough serving and a stalwart passing line. Again, I really enjoyed watching Iselen and DeSmet make big time plays for their team. Campbell Jensen also keyed in as the match went on and played some good defense.
Hawaii definitely tried but once again, the pressure may have been too great for the Bows to overcome. Once teams apply any kind of constant pressure, I see that Katherine gets frantic and goes into a mode where she doesn't trust anyone outside of Caylen and Jacyn and it's hard to fault her for that. As always, I felt like Tali tried to make a difference but just couldn't come up with the same point conversions that she was enjoying the past two weeks. I actually thought that Stella continue to swing well from a technical standpoint but started to spray some attacks wide/long and that affected her for the rest of the match. Victoria and Tayli also seemed a little off as far as their reading and awareness.
Finally, while moving Caylen back to the outside is obviously a good choice, I feel like it puts the team in a headspace where they don't have to buck up and contribute because they assume that she's going to take care of it and make it all better. But the plain truth is that she needs help and Katherine spamming any kine sets to her isn't sustainable for Caylen and ultimately the team's morale.
They have one more week to prove that they belong in the NCAA tournament!
GO BOWS!

UCR upset UCSB, so this win puts UCI in the Big West tournament. The Wahine may have to face them again. Maybe being the second seed would not be too bad. If UCI gets in, wouldn’t they be put in the bracket with CP? UH may have to play a higher seeded team but they teed to play better against higher level teams.
