Expect traffic hassles from the football game getting out (vs PSU, starts at 2:30). Scheduling this game at 7:30 when there is a 2:30 home football game is just bad planning. I sold my tickets due to that. Just don't want to deal with the closed roads, closed lots, traffic jams. This should have been moved to Sunday if possible, or started no earlier than 8:30. |

I sold my tickets due to that. Just don't want to deal with the closed roads, closed lots, traffic jams. This should have been moved to Sunday if possible, or started no earlier than 8:30. The first two(?) years that we had an on-campus football stadium, they set a policy of *no* other event on the day of football games. While it meant we didn’t have FB competition, we *did* have other sports conflicts, and we had some really sucky match days/times. What they *ought* to do is trim down all the fluff in FB games, so that 60 minutes of clock time doesn’t end up being 3-1/2 hours of scheduled broadcast time, and 4 hours of actual time. (Edit/add) Tomorrow, there’s Women’s Basketball in Williams Arena, and Wrestling in the Pav, so moving the match to Sunday wouldn’t work. I wouldn't be surprised if the start time *today* is also impacted by the Wrestling tomorrow, since I assume they need to take up the Taraflex, but at the least, they need to take down the nets and put out the wrestling surface. |

Well, it was as bad as I figured to get in. They also had the right lane blocked at the ramp, so traffic could get out (good) but then *also* blocked the bike lane with the sandwich board saying the ramp was reserved parking only, so you couldn't get into the ramp with your reserved parking pass.
Oh well. Go Gophers!
