📜 Since 1995, Louisville is 10-3 against Virginia and 4-2 on the road in Charlottesville. The Cardinals are on a 7-match winning streak and won last year's only match 3-0 (-16, -16, -17) in Louisville. The Wahoos have not had a win since 2016 and last won a set during a 5-set loss in 2018. This is the only regular season meeting between the teams in 2024.

📜 Since 1980, Louisville is 27-4 against Virginia Tech and 10-3 at VT. The Cards are on a 3-match winning streak including last year's only matchup, a 3-1 win on the road. The Hokies last had a win in 2019, 3-1 at home for VT's only ACC win against Louisville. This is the only scheduled meeting between the teams in 2024.

Cards went on a 4-0 run fighting off several set points only to lose it 23-25.

It’s the first set Cards have lost this month. First set Cards have lost to Virginia since 2018.
