Cannot wait to watch him live got my season tix early. I like the awareness #1 Moni shows, the split second decision making. Varga should have a huge year. Will miss Briggs so I hope Larson or Harman can keep us solid in the back row. I don't know how all universe Moni will be but the potential looks like its there. Four years of knowing Aidan will rarely take a swing or dump one over to never knowing when Moni will. Should open up way more one on ones. A different animal running the show. Го Беач

Го Беач most of the video I've seen is with Moni in prime position for a play we'll see once he's making half his sets at the 3 m line and/or off of errant passes - that'll determine a lot of things - for his shortcomings, I think Aiden was still a bit quicker than Moni - no question in blocking, serving, attacking Moni brings a huge new dimension - just comes back to dealing with the more difficult sets and covering ground as much as will miss Briggs, Siapanis and Varga have been solid passers. every OH has their poor moments, just those two are pretty reliable - that takes some pressure off of Larson or whoever is libero to not have to be a superstar that Briggs was, just get decent passes off of serves and not have to cover as much as Briggs did

I think if we check back in 9 months, Timeless will be giving birth to a little baby Nikolov. He has been bouncing up and down on Simeon's thing all night, wouldn't be surprised if he got pregnant I am concerned. Sexualizing a 17-year-old. VT Five-0 can you shoot this guy. xee YOU ARE DISGUSTING lighten up

Not sure he can dish it to McRaven, Bouchkov though since their connection might not be there yet. Joe Worsley was probably the last setter that had the capability of turning a 12-13ft off the net passes into a middle attack. I think we'll see that same aggressiveness from Simeon as the season goes on.

can you expand a bit on why you think UCI won't make the tournament? I'm ot trying to be argumentative, I just kinda want to hear what others think cause they looked good last year and I don't think the drop-off in talent (except for maybe losing Cole Power) is that drastic? I definitely think UCI won’t be as good. As for them not making the tournament, that remains to be seen. However, some of the reasons why I think they won’t be as good is because the setter is a question mark. Whoever it is, it’s likely that they’re a step down from Sheward. You mentioned the loss of Power, which is huge. Their ball control will be a huge liability, especially given how rough Flexen looked once the summer. Henno is gonna Henno, but I have a feeling that he’ll he forced to put away a lot of garbage balls and they won’t be in system as often. I wouldn’t be surprised if his numbers are worse this year as a result Basically, all of this, a slightly worst version of that 2023 team. They are really going to miss, Sheward and Power the most. Tangutur stabilized the team from all areas and I'm not sure Andon Kiriakou is ready to be that guy. We'll see..

Plenty of video out there to watch. He can also find the middle from off the net too, both beach middle get up enough and have windows that Moni will find. Besides Joe W, Issacson is great at it too.

He got a lot better at it the last part of his college career but Moni is already better IMO

He has been a pro player the last few years, so he should be head and shoulders above the others.
He is 18 years old and there are 18 year-olds who compete for championships and win them in the best leagues in the world while he is playing in an NCAA that has been continually going through the probably the biggest talent deficiency in 20 years or so.
Gianelli had 2 Italian championships (although he was a back-up for one of them) at 18 and a Euros medal. Pankov was competing for Russian titles at 18 as well. Bruno was starting in Brazil, DeCecco had runs between Italy and Argentina as a teenager.
The setter having the best season in France right now is 18 years old.
I honestly think he will be here to have the college experience and then dip before he falls behind his peers.
