CJ and Izzy were fantastic, I’m so excited to watch them over the next 4 years. We are very lucky to have them in the Valley! Dimes Grimes was also sensational, I hope everyone takes notice and she gets an AA award with Jess and Izzy. WE ARE Dimes Grimes, I love it!

TayLa, Beason & Krause a combined: 13-15-65…….Woof! That trio is too good to be putting up those kinds of numbers. Hopefully they can fire it up in the tournament.

The basic and boring attacking patterns by Nebraska coaching staff should be reconsidered.
Nebraska has an elite setter who can play more professional and fast volleyball but the philosophy of Nebraska, which is playing clean volleyball with high technique abilities, started to have limitations in recent years at the final points with the change of women's volleyball to more physical, faster level.
Bergen was better last year, it's not a coincidence that Nebraska volleyball hasn't produce TeamUSA level setters in past. The time in Nebraska is not doing any favor to Bergen.

Nebraska plays slow and they rely on being clean and just more talented than everyone else. I also agree that Bergen has went backwards as a setter I think.

Congrats to Penn State. Clearly out played NE. NE transfers Jurevicius and Mendelson had stand out games.
Looking forward to NE delivering some whoop--s on them next time, but this time they delivered...with a grwwl...
BTW experiences may vary, but I did NOT find this match all that interesting... Then it was followed by that debacle in Iowa City...

Congrats to Penn State. Clearly out played NE. …Then it was followed by that debacle in Iowa City... Iowa had 5 first downs, was 0-10 on third down, and gained 164 total yards. Yeah, losing to those exciting Hawkeyes could accurately be described as a debacle.

If you’re on TikTok, check out Harper’s story. She shared two posts addressing the hate she/the team has received online from last night:
“PSA- all athletes still have feelings to all the children posting about our team and saying all this crazy stuff.. i'd like to see you come out here and try to do better but until then keep ur negativity to urself also i guarantee you guys do not know as much about volleyball as u think considering some of the stuff u guys r commenting”
“like i'm so sick of it. imagine someone posting something like that about you, ur sister or someone you care about lets use our brains and spread positivity. i thought sports r supposed to be fun i'm embarrassed for you”

I know she's not everyone's favorite but I would like to think we learned something from Harper sharing her story earlier this season. I'm a Nebraska fan but we truly do have some of the best and worst fans at the same time.

rjaege thought the “match was not all that interesting”? The upset of the year, two teams displaying incredible defense, hard hitting, in front of an electric crowd, with both school’s fan bases on hand? That wasn’t “interesting”? What do you need? The teams inside a cage, fighting to the death?

So the first, third, and fourth sets were 19-19, 20-21, and 21-21 at one point. All season long Nebraska has been in those kind of sets and pulled it out. Last night it was Penn State, in large part helped By the rec hall crowd. In a match that close (Nebraska won more points), Nebraska fans need to chill out and look forward to getting their trophy tonight.
