Not a good look for PVF when you have a college coach immediately coming out on the record saying he's "incredibly disappointed in the leadership of that league that thinks that this is a good idea to be doing this during our season" There is no good way to do it with LOVB and other leagues in waiting to choose from. Plus PVF competition dates are early January. |

Thought his comments were gonna be worse based off this thread but for the most part what he said was pretty reasonable - things like this are to be expected in the infancy of the league and any press is good press!

Interesting. I dont know much about when seasons start etc, but I for sure thought they would of went overseas asap.. shows what I know Merritt isnt an intl style opposite. Her skill set fits PVF. Colvin seems like one to want to stay here (but thats just projection). i'd like to see Raven overseas. On senior night, announcer announced that Raven’s plans were to play professional volleyball in the U.S. I kinda assumed she would end up in Indy, but I guess not. |

Just looking at it in paper I like who Omaha added. Wait seems like a steal on the court and as a draw and Krause is a great local draw who can play if needed. Landot will be great if she stays stateside. Like someone said they didn't need a middle but she is pretty good. As an Omahan these players will make me want to go see the supernovas even more which is as important as anything in the infancy of the league.
If Batenhorst decides to play that will be a huge draw but I think she may have her heart on the beach

contact outside of the draft? surely the ncaa wouldnt like that? 12.2.4.1 Inquiry. An individual may inquire of a professional sports organization about eligibility for a professional league player draft or request information about the individual's market value without affecting the individual's amateur status. Current athletes can talk to pro teams/coaches. Bramschreiber’s situation? |

There were a few wild cards (Smrek, Mruzik), but the drafts from the first 3 rounds (at least) will commit to training camp. It was more of a call to let them know they were going to be picked by Indy (which I am sure was already a done deal for DeBeer and Scott) |

Basically every other program saw the draft as a thing to celebrate. Kelly used it to %*$# on the league that is a rival of the one that is coming to his hometown, Carlini is playing for, and apparently his wife is working for. (I don’t know what the deal is there) |

Calling her an employee of LOVB is a small stretch. |
