The Cards will face Stanford for the first time since Sept. 29, where Louisville swept the Cardinal in the KFC Yum! Center. With Stanford ranked No. 3 at the time, UofL held them to a .144 hitting percentage and forced 16 errors on the match. Luper notched 18 kills, while middle blockers Cara Cresse and Reese Robins each tallied six and five blocks, respectively. Saturday's match will be only the fourth meeting between the teams; Louisville leads the matchup 2-1.

Stanford needs to play well now that season is winding down.
This is a good season ending test for them going onto the playoffs.
Stanford could lose in the first round or make the FF, it come down too if they show up.

Well after tonight 3 of the 4 spots are officially clinched. This could be very well be the match for the 5th spot. These are my two favorite teams and I orig ally wanted Louisville to win under the assumption Nebraska was gonna win so that Louisville and Stanford could end up 3 and 6 and make it very likely one of my teams gets to the final four. Now i might want Stanford to win ? I don’t want Louisville to be matched against Creighton  |

It's possibile Stanford could sneak into the 4th seed with a win, but I doubt it. So your hopes are still alive! |
