I think Pepperdine's roster is in healthier shape at this point in the season. USD really missed Munday the last couple of matches, and I don't know what her injury is. Osunsanmi has been really good for USD as a freshman MOST of the time, but has had matches where she hit zero, even before her recent ankle sprain, which was about 11 days ago? So, if she's not 100% and they don't have Munday setting, it will be harder for them. I'm not aware of any significant injuries for Pepperdine. Piskorz, Chillingworth and Hendrickson are usually very solid for them and Pravednikov played well enough to be the FOW this week. Here's what trojansc commented on his bracketology thread about this match:San Diego vs. Pepperdine truly is an elimination match, though if Pepperdine wins out I'm not sure they get in anyways with just 1 Top 50 win (especially depending on what happens with Hawaii). I think San Diego will get in winning out -

Here's what trojansc commented on his bracketology thread about this match: But truthfully there is something even more important on the line in this match (jk). In the fantasy league, this is the last week and I’m battling for 1st place. I really need aces+blocks from my freshman star Ella Piskorz. I’m playing head to head against vballfreak808 who has Birdie Hendrickson. Freak is in their own battle as well, as they are fighting for 3rd place. This is a BIG match!

Nice that USD has both Munday and Osunsanmi in the match today. USD leads 23-20 behind Clark and Beach.
San Diego took the first set 25-20. USD had 4 blocks and Pepp had zero. San Diego hit .344 and held Pepp to .174. Chillingworth leads the match with 7 kills for Pepp. (Piskorz and Hendrickson both a little quiet in the first set. Pravednikov is struggling.)

LMFAOOO he seems knowledgeable but is just exhausting to listen to 💀 There are people in every walk of life who can't stand a silence, and will fill it with talk. I agree it's exhausting to listen to. Pepperdine has come out strong in set two, maintaining a 3-4 point lead through most of the set. Now 17-13.

I tuned in right when Piskorz got a block earlier... she also got an assist which I don't like. Nice to see Munday is back for USD

After Pepp leading all set, USD has gone on a 6-1 run to lead 21-19. Pepperdine is challenging a block touch.

After a slow start, San Diego came back to take the second set 25-23 on a Clark ace serve. They lead 2-0
Chillingworth leads the match with 13 kills at .423. Clark is leading USD with 11 kills at .308 and an ace. San Diego has 6 blocks to Pepp's 2 blocks. (The announcer keeps calling half block totals...he's usually right on top of things.)
*For what REALLY matters: Hendrickson has 5 kills and a block. Piskorz has 4 kills and a block, and an assist.

San Diego came out hot in the third set and got out to a 19-12 lead before Pepperdine put together a little run. USD currently up 20-17.
Freshman Isabel Clark has been really impressive for USD. 18 kills at .350 right now. But making really smart choices when she's given trap sets, and manages to swipe off the block for a kill, rather than getting stuffed.

Huge comeback by Pepperdine. Now tied at 22...and Pepp edges ahead 23-22. Pretty impressive comeback from down 12-19. TO USD.

Clark's 20th kill gives San Diego match point at 25-24. TO Pepp.
