The other thing about that article is how they use the phrase "Common Sense" as a shield for their ignorance and bigotry. "I can't prove this, but it's Common Sense! I'm not discriminating, I'm just using Common Sense!"
They also sneak in a complaint about "Pentagon climate change programs," which is confusing to me. I would think it was Common Sense that fewer droughts and famines would lead to a more stable world and easier time for our military, but apparently you can only use Common Sense for reactionary culture bullsh!t.
Oh boy, what a bunch of psychobabble. Common sense is common sense. The reason Democrats lost terribly is because they lack common sense. I know the truth bothers you. But until the Democrat party gets some common sense, no one can relate to them. And frankly, it’s getting worse. The truth? The title of this thread is a lie.

Bottom line, young soldiers, didn’t want to join the pansy ass brigade. No, the bottom lie is you are unable to tell the truth. Isn’t it odd that right after the election all of a sudden young men wanted to join the military? What a weird coincidence? People have pride in their country again.

Here's the part that I found most interesting: Sounds like the 2022 program for preparing recruits prior to basic training is behind the better recruitment in the past few years.

Why Pete? Almost all the gains were during the Biden administration. If any congratulations are in order, then congrats Generals Austin, Milley, and/or Brown, I suppose. Of all the disingenuousness on display by Republican politicians and conservative media over the past five years - and that covers a huge amount of territory - the pernicious squawking about a “woke military” is among the most dishonest.

This article is about recruiting month December 2024. Hegseth was confirmed end of January. This is just another example of just how f#cking dense you are.

From the articles linked on this thread, it’s pretty apparent that recruiting gains in 2024 are largely due to changes in recruiting practices and programs initiated in 2022 and 2023, like the Future Soldier Preparatory Course. Or maybe a bunch of high school boys saw all the photos of Pete Hegseth getting wasted and thought to themselves “hey, look at the secretary of defense partying his ass off, the army looks like fun! Where do I sign?”

The thing I have to admire about Democrats is the narrative they create that isn’t even close to the truth. They just cannot accept failure, but the voters did that for them.
