Don't worry about whether you agree or disagree with anyone on this forum.
My philosophy is: post your thought and move on to another thread. Don't look back.

So no one has provided any substance regarding whether Arizona is a big team, so I looked it up. Their front line
Baum 6-2 Glass 6-3 Lamb 6-1 Ladd 6-1 Abernathy 5-11
I score them as 6, meaning that they are a total of 6" over an average of 6 feet.
Contrast them to teams that Ohio has beat: Ohio St -1 Tennessee 4
and then to Purdue, who was at 12 when they played Ohio.
This is interesting. Is there a pattern? There other loss was to Louisville, who is a very big team (they score 14).
I won't go through all the MAC, but did look up the two west coast teams: St Marys 0, Sac St 1 Therefore, these teams are on the small side.
So what we have. Ohio beats Ohio St -1 Sac St 1 St Marys 0 Tennessee 4
Lost to Purdue 12 Louisville 14
Arizona at 6 is bigger than Tennessee, but not near as big as Purdue/Louisville.
I just made that up, but their might be something to the claim that Ohio matches up better with teams that are not big.
As for what happens against the big teams, the one thing I notice against these 4 teams is that Holly Schetzle struggled against Purdue and Louisville. Against OhSt, Tenn, Sac St, and St Marys, she average 12 kills hitting about 360. In the two losses, she average 5 kills hitting 100.
My initial suspecion was that it would be Winkfield, since she is not as big. However, there wasn't a drastic difference for her in hitting. She had more kills in the wins, but then, they scored more points. Her hitting % was the same against the tall and short teams. One very large (ha ha) difference was her blocking. She average 3.5 blocks/match against the short teams, but only 1 block/match against the big teams. Makes sense, I guess.
