Think everybody is forgetting about Yanz going to PSU in the fall. Another good one along with Glass adds up to a possible 6-2 for the Lions. Until somebody can knock them off the 06 PSU team will really be young and very good even without Hodge. They may struggle a little in the beginning of the season but by the start of the Big 10 season they will be ready.
Top 5 in conference: 1. PSU 2. OSU 3. WISC 4. PURDUE 5. MINNESOTA
Harmotto will be more than ready by fall. Fawcett will also be a Soph so hitting 0% in a NCAA regional will be past her. How this team ever missed 17 serves in 4 games is still a puzzle. Big Question will be defense for the Lions and who will step up and finding a leader to replace Sam.

How is TWO freshman setters going to make them better? They need to hope they have one who can play.
And who cares about the start of the Big10 season? They need to be ready by the start of the NCAAs...

Just want to add: I hope PSU DOES go with a 6-2 and two freshman setters. That would be fabulous! It might also cause Russ to age a decade in 3 months...

Maybe disappearing ink would be more appropriate? Do the Huskers even have a scholarship left? Scholies are irrelevant. Hodge isn't going to Nebraska and everybody knows why even if we're too nice to say it. Look for her at Florida, Texas, or maybe Arizona.

Perhaps you can spell it out, because I'm hoping it isn't what I think you're hinting at.

I know of one top recruit from a few years back who didn't go to Nebraska because there was no diversity on the team and she felt like she didn't fit in. I'm not saying that's the case with Hodge, but I'm sure that's what OverandUnder is referring to. Sad to say.

Gosh, I hope Hodge doesn't commit to Nebraska. I would have hoped Washington was in the running. She'd be a go to player and face a ton of strong competition. She'd develop better there.

Sorry, it's Christmas week and I need to keep up the niceness and discretion if I'm going to make a last minute attempt to stay off Santa's "naughty" list.

Just curious why you think so. I like Washington's style of play and how they develop players. They boast strong all-around players and smart hitters. Washington could really use Hodge whereas Nebraska won't need her so badly until Houghtelling graduates, and even then they already have Pavan and Larson and Bartek and Cooper. At Washington she'd become the go to hitter along with Morrison (who would also serve as a great player for her to emulate). McLaughlin has also proven to be a terrific coach well loved by his pupils. Players like Lee, Hagerty, Morrison and Paige Benjamin have come around remarkably well. Hodge would also face top notch competition in the Pac 10, albeit the Big 10 and Big 12 are strong also.
