18-13.
Hawaii is not a top 10 team. they are just aweful. Houston is terrible tonight, as she seems to be the past couple of weeks.

The problem right now seems to be hitting errors. Hawaii's lost eight points this game on hitting errors so far this game, and a lot of were pretty ridiculous errors.
Dave Shoji looks pissed.

I can't imagine how pissed he must be. In an article recently he mentioned how he gets upset when he goes home and family points out the obvious area's of improvement (passing). I'm sure he tries to practice those drills everyday and it just doesn't seem to do anything with this years team. I'd say after this weekend.....I'd have every player learn how to pass. Screw the hitting because hawaii can't pass.

It seems like they always terminate if they get a good pass, so I would agree, just work on passing, passing, passing. They know how to hit, but it's amazing how much Robbs says "shanked."
meanwhile, hawaii has tied it at 28.

Game 3: A few minutes ago, Hawaii was hitting .054 to Northwestern's .243. Now it seems as if Hawaii's managed to get it babck together somewhat, Hawaii got it up to .146 to Northwestern's .182.
Keefe is hitting .000 so far tonight, Houston is hitting .111 so far tonight. The middles are particularly effective (as would be expected) when they get good sets, but Hawaii's passing isn't consistent for Thurlby to use them.
And...Hawaii's managed to tie it at 29; we're going into extra play.

I'll be honest, I didn't think they could do it, but they did it. Hawaii wins it 32-30! I'm glad they have the heart to keep it together when the going gets tough.
