Huskers are getting their block on now. Serving a bit better and MN not passing too well.

Way to go Stalls! Glad to see she's bringing the heat. I miss Houghtelling's presence and skills on the court.

This is a broken record from last year..........Minnesota needs to get their middles more involved. This is where they miss Peniata to give them the ball control to do that.

Roehrig really playing well in her home state. Not the first time a Nebraskan has come back and played a great match in the Coliseum. I seem to remember a gutsy effort by Lindsay Hunter last year when Mizzou nearly pulled off the huge upset.

Schwartz misses another serve. The problem is the serves aren't even competitve. If your gonna miss, at least tee that thing up.

I know why Cook likes Pavan to play backrow. I think she's a liability passing and defensively, but she attacks better out of the back than in the front. I've never a seen player like that. She's amazing out of the back row.

Hartmann needs to be a little more offensive minded. Throw in a dump here and there.

Gator, I seem to remember a lot of Cruz missiles and bombs by Collymore from the back row, so that's quite a compliment.

She attacks .40 points below out of the backrow compared to the front, so I wouldn't say better, but she is great back there. It would be foolsih not to play her all the way around.

Ok. The Gophers missed -- what? -- two serves that game? But that was a worse service game than game 1. They need to serve tougher, take Nebraska out of system.
Meanwhile, the Gophers serve receive is starting to break down.
This is another place they miss Peniata. She's the best server on the team.

Maybe then it's just tonight, but she's unstoppable out of the back. The block really is either late in getting there or they are already on the way down when she hits. And she's not just hitting, she's smacking the snot out of the ball, cross court, down the line, finding openings all over the place.
