Looks like Ohio dominated this match...anyone there to see it? UCSB seems to be pretty solid overall. P.S. Bik...do you not like the Bobcats....they seem to be doing well over the past 3 years.

I like what Ohio is doing but the Bobcats are still little girls in a big girls world, if you know what I mean. If the Gauchos want to consider themselves a top tier program, they can't lose to Ohio, not now anyway.

Are you serious generation BIK? Are you aware that Ohio beat Tennessee last year 3-0, Ohio State 3-0 in the NCAA's at Ohio State, St. Mary's, Sac St, all 3-0 I believe, ended the year #14 AVCA, #12 RPI and #10 Pablo? The year before they beat Pepperdine, Missouri....all top 25 teams. And you want to say that they are not better than Santa Barbara or that SB should have beat them? You seemed like someone on this board who could actually get behind a team like Ohio instead of joining the masses who only want to talk about Stanford and Hawaii. Guess I was wrong.

Ohio is hard to follow... noone talks about them. No real fans. It's easy to dismiss them.

If fans were a requirement, we would have forgotten about USC long ago.
And Pepperdine.
I looked at the Box Score for Pepperdine/Purdue. You know what the attendance was? 392

Thats the point...I'm a Mac fan and been following Ohio for the past 3 years...they've been in the top 25 or getting votes for nearly 4 years in a row now, I talked to Ball St. folks and they said the Bcats had over 1500 fans when they played them, they are just a cool story overall for the sport.

Ohio in ANY conference would be a good team and in several of them they would be still be the top dog! Live and learn! ESTRELLA

Live and learn! ESTRELLA Nah, the Midwest is BOring. There are contenders and pretenders dawg, and in the context of the big picture, Ohio is a pretender. Ohio is a good school right where they are. They have dominated the MAC for some years and had some nice wins over some seeded teams but you need to be realistic. An OH like Blackburn would be eaten alive if she had to compete in a conference like the Big 12 or Big Ten where week in and week out she faced that kind of competition. It's not the fact Ohio is a midwest team but more the conference they play in. Plenty of great players right now are from the midwest. Those midwestern players chose to play in tougher conferences. I doubt Ohio will repeat the run they had last year. They'll probably win the MAC but even there they will be challenged.
