altho kehoe & spicer are origin ally outside of the west they play (and god bless them) in the west are they not as for berg it doesn't matter if she's from hawaii she's not smart enuf to stay & play in the west if she did she wouldn't have the same stats she had coz there would be tons of other setters better than her in the west the only thing that matters is that almost all the noncali players who became champs and legends played in the west (mainly in the pac10) the cali rejects played outside the west & did well coz the competition in those leagues simply sux it's hillarious how pathetic the leagues are outside the west remember ah mow set for the u.s and they made the top5 even #1 b4 the oly debbie green also set for the u.s and got the brz in the oly only players in the west (orginally or not as long as they fin ished their collegiate yrs in the west) can set for the u.s to become a world class contender and medalst

Please, we quickly forget Lori Endicott labeled Best Setter in the World at one point and the only setter to medal at the Olympics since Debi Green if I'm not mistaken. The lowly Huskers didn't even make the final four the two years she was a setter. If I'm not mistaken Green took a silver medal.

I still shake my head when I think about the 96 squad. They had so much talent. Of course the rest of the top teams were way better too.

It is also very unfortunate for them to meet Cuba in the quarterfinals as Cuba unexpectedly lost 2 of their round robin matches. Carvajal had 9 blocks in that match and in international matches there are no block assist recorded
