Again, not saying she is a pro, because I don't know that for cetain. As for sour grapes, the one fact I do know is that Nebraska did indeed deem her to be a pro by virtue of having played with players who were paid. That is a fact. The fact they believe she was, still doesn't mean she was, but she was not offered by Nebraska, therefore didn't choose Cal over UN. I'm just saying - what's the point in "leaking" that outside of their athletic dept if it isn't to try and paint Cal, Coaches Feller/Bigelow/McShane, and the Cal athletics compliance office in a bad light. Maybe I don't know the inside workings of college athletic departments, but it doesn't sound like something we'd do in the private sector unless we had solid proof.

yeah yeah yeah. Nebraska wanted her. They would have offered her if she wanted to go there. Just that she chose weather and tradition over corncobs and scarecrows. Big deal.
You can't believe EVERYTHING that the Cookster tells ya Keystone.

In addition to the temperate climate of the San Francisco Bay Area, we can do corncobs and scarecrows in Berkeley. I sometimes drive by this research field (the Oxford Tract) off of Oxford Street on the way to Haas Pavilion. We've got pretty much the perfect weather for growing sweet corn. ![](http://static.flickr.com/70/194464072_fabb3f7211.jpg)

I hear what you guy's are saying, but this isn't just a Nebraska beef, in fact they haven't even taken issue with it, several PAC 10 schools have taken issue with this with the NCAA and PAC 10 for the same reason. I am just sharing what I believe to be the truth. I have said it once and will say it again, I don't believe Cal cheated. Cheating would be knowing she was a professional and painting a different picture to get around it. Rich, Matt and Chris are great people and i'm sure they went through the proper channels and found her to be legitimate. Nebraska may have felt she had professional ties, and been wrong. If there is a beef it lies within the system, and no legitimate way to document these things. It is the last I have to say on the subject I have too much respect for both programs, and feel bad about insinuating (sp?) anything negative towards Cal.
