I hope so for the sake of the huskies. Stanford's schedule was nice this year. They have USC, UCLA and Washington all at home the second half of the pac season.

Will there be any television coverage of the game?

Why was it that Lizzie Suiter played in a game for the first time all season last night? Is she perpetually injured?

Will there be any television coverage of the game? Not in Southern Cal.

I thought they were broadcasting UCLA vs Stanford locally. There's some volleyball scheduled to air on LA36. I have no idea what it is however. Those commentators said they'd be broadcasting throughout the season. They'd better for this one. This is going to be the fight for the top of the Pac 10.

You can actually on-line through alll access on the computer with the schedule. It there is a video and audio feed. It is a view from the top. The video is about half the size of the monitor but you can add the gametracker with it and it works out well. And, the best part is it is free. Also, Stanford has announcers that have broadcast the match as well. So you have two choices.

Actually my hope is that Stanford peaks midseason and begins its descent come December. They played pretty darn good on Saturday. If they improved even more that would be scary. Their passing and defense is better than Penn State's and Nebraska's. It'll be interesting to see them match up w/ those teams.

With Foluke Akinradewo and Franci Girard playing so well and Coach Dunning's conservatism about substitutions, it would seem that only an injury, something transitory or... _perhaps_... a match against Pac-10 cupcake Oregon State... would get senior co-captain Michelle Mellard or the unlucky Suiter (who got hurt just before the 2005 NACWAA tournament and was banged up into the 2006 early season) into a match. Last night, it was something transitory... Foluke being called over to the bench for a talk with Coach Dunning. Foluke came back in pretty quickly.
Girard came late to volleyball and Akinradewo came extremely late (her only "club" experience is with the U.S. Junior National Team)... so both have more room to grow from experience than the typical top-shelf recruit who has been playing club since grade school.

Okay, I'm camped out on the internet site for "All Access" and I don't see any video yet.
