Those articles were too long for me to read. I'm assuming they're just your garden variety "Attaboy!" pat-on-yer-back article about USC's grand efforts to build the Galen Center. If I'm wrong,
My apologies, in advance.

At the end of the match, Dunning was gushing about the Galen Center, and how he was jealous of it.

Just curious that's all...there is no question that it is a very nice facility....$100 Million bucks speaks for itself......too bad for volleyball it will be empty, no matter how good the teams are....just finished watching the Stanford U$C match on FSN.....Stanford is pretty much hitting on all cylinders right now.....U$C still making too many errors and the play of the Pole was a little erratic as was that of Gysin.....if they were playing the return engagement at Galen I would say that U$C would have a chance to win but since it is at the new, improved, Maples, not a chance!! Oh well.....so Stanford moves up one and USC moves down one in the poll.....unless of course Stanford wins at UCLA..... then then move up from 6 to 3.....big whoop!!

Yup, $100 million -- all privately raised. Hmmm...when is the missing balcony at the Pyramid be built? Now that LBSU vball stinks big time, I guess no need to upgrade that facility.

It's okay. I can go down to better seats. But don't you worry. The basketball teams will make the revenue for the Galen Center. Plus, they are renting the arena for concert too. Beachman, what do you think of the large window overlooking LA downtown. Any similar view at the pyramid? ;D

I don't think Beachman gives a flying flip about the Galen Center.

We all know that the Pyramid is a thing of the past now -- a team struggling under a coach who has lost his mojo, major recruits shying away (including homegrown talents), fans becoming bitter and struggling to hold on to past glories...what LBSU's record again?

The Fox telecast of this match was finally shown, aside from the great match, it was interesting what a big deal this new building was for USC, all these dignitaries were at the game, it was a full house. How embarrassing that USC loses. I'm wondering if they could have waited until the Oregon schools came down to open it up? Its hard not to feel bad for USC.

It sucks getting swept at home, but I don't consider it shameful. Stanford is a terrific team. I'll just be sad if USC doesn't learn anything from this loss.

I don't get it. How is Stanford "rude"?

Stanford served very smart. I also thought USC's setter was not playing well. Her location was way off.... I do like her offense though!
Anyone else think that USC's libero was a little "disruptive" to her team? Yes.... she is supposed to control the defense, but how many times did just run right into one of her teammates and take the ball from them? I appreciate her zeal, but I think she has to let her teammates play their own positions on defense.
Good win for Stanford.
