I haven't heard many names come out. Any nominees? I know Seilhammer is pretty good.

Seilhammer is great, Jennings from Texas is great but not as consistent as she could be. Washington State has a good one in Kelly Hyder, The libero from Cal Poly is pretty good. UCLA might have the best overall defense in the country so I guess Jordan Smith would figure in there somewhere.

UW libero is much better than I expected but I think she may set next year which sucks. She is good.

Marci Peniata and Nicole Colaluca are the best two in the Big Ten.

Amanda McCormick at Ball State is putting up good numbers this year, although Ball State is only a middling team.

UW libero is much better than I expected but I think she may set next year which sucks. She is good. maybe. washington has a very highly regarded setter coming in next year. i bet Jim gives her a shot before moving Tama to setter. either way i'm happy, Courtney has said Tama pushed her a lot last year. wazzu actually has two very good libero's, Jalen Pendon was all-freshman team last year and she was replaced by hyder. I would say Seilhammer is the best in the pac10 this year. I'm way too woefully ignorant on other conference's liberos to predict who is the best in the country.

I know Kansas State hasn't been having a good year, but they played at Minnesota a couple of years ago, when Angie Lastra was a freshman. A number of us were really impressed by her at the time.
