I'm curious too. I just hope she does, so we can prove people wrong about how good she really is....

That is Kim Willoughby... About her playing opposite, I think Kim was the most effective at that position for the Wahine hands down. I also like the crossing plays she did from that position flying up the middle and pounding the ball into the floor during her freshman year. Awesome stuff. The play that sticks out the most to me from any kim willoughby hits was a back one from kanoe againts USC...perfect set perfect hit.. Hey I watch that one too, that was sweet........!

On Saturday Logan Tom and Ana Ibis Fernandez led Tenerife past Kim Willoughby's team Grupo 2002, 3-1. 25-23; 25-18; 23-25; 28-26 Scores were pretty close. Tom with 30 points, Fernandez with 20. Glinka led Grupo 2002 with 26 points and Kim Willoughby scored 15. www.clubvoleiboltenerife.com/Check out pics of Kim and Logan in action. Wow, Logan with 30 points. Is she getting better or the competition is just so so.

I'm a little surprised it was so close.

Stranger things have happened - see Keba Phipps!

I haven't seen her play in a long while, and I'm interested in your thoughts.

I am familliar with most of the players who were in the game though. I can't wait to see Willoughby in this setting also. I may get tape of a previous match. If I do I'll certainly give you my impressions. Kim will be moving on to Italy in December or January so I will have a better chance of catching her on tv or online when that happens.

I love Kim Willoughby and Logan Tom, they have done so much for the sport of volleyball. My niece is 9 years old and just adores Kim...from the tapes of her playing at the University Of Hawaii. She saw Logan on tv a couple of times and now want to be just like them. Tom and Willoughby are good role models for young girls, they have set the standard for womens volleyball, but the sport is still revolving and the players are just getting more physical.
