Too many hitting errors. Jones and Cumpston's averages are plummeting.

That's 7 straight for MSU, 15-14.

I'd feel a lot more confident about this team's chances if they could eliminate these runs. There's still way too much offensive inconsistency.
16-16.

Johnson is one kill from .000. Only 4 kills for the match.
Roehrig in the same boat, with 3 kills.

Anyhow, MSU was pretty hot heading into this match. To be up 2-0 (and now 20-19) is nothing to sneeze at.
Atchoo.

A lot of balls are going to Cumpston. 35 attempts for her followed by 18 for Jones.
21-19 MN

29-25 and GameTracker's going crazy. Looks like I need a reboot.
That was an odd game. Gopher dominated except for that 8 point run in there...

30-25 MN. Nice rebound win for the gophers. Credit the coaching staff for another good game plan. Johnson hit -.133 (4 kills) while MSU hit .131 as a team.

30-25. Peniata with another kill. Think there's another libero with more kills? I think that gives Marci ~10 kills on the season. It sure seems like she gets more kills than that, and they often enough come at key points in games / matches. I'm not sure its enough kills to have a new stat to track for liberos though. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

In other Big10 news, Wisky sweeps Michy and Iowa hammers Illinois in game 1.

Box ScoreOnly 13 attacks for Kyla in the match - pretty unusual for her to get so few. However, Meghan had 40 attacks. Fairly unbalanced, I wonder if they were getting strings of point while Kyla was subbed out from the back row. Good win for the Gophers anyhow, I was a bit nervous about it. Hopefully they'll be able to play well again tomorrow night against Michigan and get anoter win,
