Courtney had tape on her left hand.. Does anyone know why that was... she came away from one block shaking her hand that was taped as if it really hurt

I think Jim must have told them to priactice "let" serves today. They must have had at least eight that hit the tape and went over and one that hit the tape and fell back.
Also, backrow attacks seemed to be big tonight.
Overall, a very flat game with little emotion. Felt like they were just going through the paces until UA won game three and then they came out with a purpose in game four and pulled away early.

Dave Rubio was not at the game. I wonder where he was. Arizona was without head coach Dave Rubio on the sidelines. Rubio missed his first match in 15 seasons to stay in Tucson and accompany his wife Amanda as the couple awaits the birth of twins.

That has GOT to be the coaches fault. He has to be the cheerleader and insire them all the time. If you don't believe me, just read the Nebraska - Texas A&M thread ;D

I didn't get to this one, so I'm reading the articles and looking at the box score (), and a few things jumped out.
Morrison had more than a third of the attacks and still hit for .361. No wonder she had a career high for kills.
I'm grumbling over 14 unforced hitting errors. I know, that's pretty low for 179 attacks, but in a good 3-game match they'll have just 6.
The recap says Miyashiro has just 59 digs to go to break one of Candace's season records -- as a freshman! With 3 regular season matches to go and at least one in the playoffs, all she has to do is match her average of 5 digs/game and she'll do it.
What's the rest of her career going to be like?
