UCLA likes to be pushed. They usually respond very well when things are tight. Poor Nina and Pepperdine, they had a real chance for a statement win tonight. Not to be.

They sure do, don't know if that will work in the tournament, but this Bruin team are daredevils. Lyman had a career high 24 digs, but Andy said they got on her for only having 1 dig the 2nd game.

UCLA likes to be pushed. They usually respond very well when things are tight. Well, at least against the California teams south of Stanford ;D

Wow UCLA dodged a bullet! A loss to Pepp could have cost them a #1 seed on Sunday. My take is the fourth and final #1 seed is between Penn State and UCLA. Nebraska, Washington and Stanford should be locks for a one seed.

Pepperdine will be dangerous next season.....alot of tall, athletic, potential young players and an awesome setter to go with that....give them time they will eventually make noise...

Not really sure why everyone thinks Pepperdine is such a bad team and it would have been a major let down for UCLA to have lost this match. Am I missing something? They have taken two of the top four teams in the Pac-10 to five games. Their one bad showing against the Pac-10 was at Cal a long time ago. Pepperdine is a legit contender to make it to the Sweet 16 again this season. If Rubenstein does anything tonight, Pepperdine wins in four.

The commentators kept mentioning that Meriwether was outplayed by Milo but Milo only topped Meriwether in hitting percentage while Meriwether had more kills and way more blocks.
