My vote for best foreigner in the Pac-10 ~ Barbara Ifejika. She was an all-around MB that was an asset in the backrow. The Championship rings don't hurt her standing either. Barbara Ifejika was a good MB, but it was teammate Eileen Murfee(MB), also from Canada, that lead the team in kills and blocks, even with Kerri Walsh and Kristen Fokl on the team.

The reason Ifejika is more impressive to me is that she could pass and defend the back court as well as anyone else on that team. I'm always more impressed with players that can pass ~ which is why I'm still not a huge Nnamani fan.

Some would say that Canada is a giant suburb of the United States -- but just listen to these words: O Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love in all thy sons command. With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free! From far and wide, O Canada, We stand on guard for thee. God keep our land glorious and free! O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. O Canada, we stand on guard for thee

Hey, isn't that the hockey theme song? Canadians are no longer dominant in hockey. Certainly there are still star players from Canada and the US, but most of the NHL's star players are now from Russia, Czech Republic, Finland, and Sweden. It's very much an international game now.
