of course asu is going to kill this team! i never even heard of them. and this is everyone's point about the pac-10 being so tough. yes, other teams may lose tonight or tomorrow from the pac, but when you put a no namer up against another low profile pac 10 team, they will get killed. and against florida will be a different story, but this school had no chance from the get go. Oregon State would of killed them. Now tomorrow against florida, totally different.

The bigger surprise is that the matches were this close.

Looks like we're going four CofC 31-29
Donahue with FIVE recieve errors ... very uncharacteristic. That's keeping this game close. Can't get away with that against Florida.

I can't believe they are going 4. wow! why is the freshman OH playing over their best OH Margi Giordano? That makes no sense at all. is margi hurt? that's why they are going 4. otherwise this match should of been over with.

landon, I had the same question about Giordano! Did Giordano play in the Arizona match? She played in the UW match, but was eventually replaced by Mittelsteadt in game 3. Very strange to not have your go-to player all year swinging in the post-season.

11 service errors against only 2 aces also hurting ASU ...

yeah, margi always plays. the weird part is this is the NCAA tournament. you gotta play your best and most experienced.

Why is everyone so shocked that ASU went to 4? C of C made it the 2nd round last year beating UNC, got votes for the weekly rankings last year, and I believe was ranked one of the top defensive teams, maybe even the top team. They are good.

The ASU MB were getting the job done. Staci Smith with 18 kills hitting a .536 and Burnley with 16. Their Outsides need to get their act together for tomorrow
