baseball takes too long to watch. I did get lost on my way home from Loyola and ended up at Wrigley though. I was a Cubs fan in the 80's. ANd since I'm from the southside, well, it's like a birthright....you have to cheer for the cubs. ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png) )

benwhipd,
If a true southsider heard you say that "since I'm from the southside, well, it's like a birthright....you have to cheer for the cubs" you would be vilified. They would ship you off to Indiana, oh wait...I guess that's been taken care of. haha.

No other team in the MIVA could have lost their starting setter and pulled off the season that Lewis has pulled off already. I hope they win the midwest again. I said it before and I'll say it again, Lewis is the only real program outside the MPSF. all i can do is laugh, laugh at the little respect you give to loyola. did they not lose shane davis, an all american setter last year. i believe they did, and who beat who twice this season??? i laugh at you and you dumb comments, i fart in your general direction. loyola has had a way better season than lewis with a setter who has only been setting for two years and is a freshman. hahahhahaha. oh, and they are the only program outside of the mpsf....the only program to be camparable to BYU and Hawaii...you see where im goin. i laugh again, i laugh ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) ;D ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) ;D ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) ;D

you fart in his direction? Never heard that expression....it is funny.
But Loyola comments ring true...I can see them reaching the MIVA final.

I thought the attendence was low at IPFW. Is this normal? I would have thought there would have been more in attendence. Lloy Ball 6'8" Olympic setter (Arnie Ball's son) was there also. I just looked at the stats from the match and the attendance figure (548) is extremely low. It is their lowest of the year and I am very surprised. I expected to see 900 to a 1000, since they usually do so well in the attendance area. Wonder what the deal was. Maybe their long road trip (they were gone for two months) was too much for their fan base.

The fact that the guy has set the whole season with the injury he has, and led Lewis to the wins he has is amazing. No other team in the MIVA could have lost their starting setter and pulled off the season that Lewis has pulled off already. I hope they win the midwest again. I said it before and I'll say it again, Lewis is the only real program outside the MPSF. BruinBoy, BruinBoy, BruinBoy ... if you weren't so biased, maybe some of the things you write might actually have credence! If, as you state, "Lewis is the only real program outside the MPSF", then it shouldn't be a streatch for them to lose their starting setter and replace him with a Sophomore. Every team loses players and has injuries that they didn't count on but if your team is that good it shouldn't be a big deal. That's what "good" teams have to do, they make adjustments. And quite honestly, that's what Lewis did, they made adjustments. I'm not knocking Lewis, I think they are a better team and a better coached team that I've given them credit for in the past. But to say that what they have accomplished this year is amazing is a bunch of crap. I have to agree with Midwestrules, which I don't often do ;D, in that Loyola is the real miracle team. To lose the players that they lost and have a fist year rookie coach who basically finishes tied for second in the conference and has a chance to win their conference tournament is undoubtably amazing.
