You're right it will be Kamehameha vs. Santa Barbara and Redondo vs. Iolani. I read the schedule wrong.
I also watched Kabalis play and let me tell you, this girl is very good. I hope UH make room for her. She is a proto-type player like Tamari Miyashiro. She could be a great setter or libero. But I would love to see her as a defensive specialist that hits from the back row like long beach did. Seriously wherever she goes, the program will be that much better.
I wasn't impressed with Iolani, they had a lot of balls falling their way in the match with Moanalua and if Kabalis stuck with just hitting instead of setting and hitting, they would have lost. Moanalua looked as if they were still settling on player's roles for the upcoming season. I suppose its one way to figure out the best combination. I didn't think they should have sacrificed Kabalis's fire power for her setting reps. She is so good, that any setter could just place the ball high enough that she will make a smart play out of it.
The only player on Iolani side that had consistent game was Minkel. She is another legit Div I player. She has great court instincts, a heavy hand and confidence to back it up. Impact player for sure.
Anyone please report on today's matches. Peace out!

Four left. Kamehameha vs. Redondo both undefeated. Iolani vs. Santa Barbara, the loser goes home, the winner plays the loser of Kamehameha/Redondo.
