So yeah, I don't know about any notable "no calls" during the Arizona vs Kentucky game. [Saturday's game between Georgia Tech and Kentucky, however, was hands-down the worst officiating I have ever seen in college volleyball - and not just in Kentucky's favor. Check out the game on ACC Select.. it was unbe-freakin-lievable.]
However, I do vividly remember the red card. And, no, the Arizona coach was absolutely not sitting down on the bench at the time. There was a lift/carry called on a setter dump by Arizona - that ended up finding the Kentucky side of the court - for what would have been the point to win the match. Most everybody thought that the match was over; the GT scoreboard even showed the 30-26(?) final score before it was corrected. The Arizona coach went absolutely nuts on the call and - from my later conversations with the officials - used "inappropriate language" towards the officials. The R2 (down-ref) pulled out his red card signaling for the R1 to do the same. The R1 - who had not heard the language - called the R2 over to confer... It didn't take but a second before the R1 issued the red card to the coach.

I wish coaches would model the same behaviors that they expect from their players........or better yet I wish they would treat their players and fans with dignity and run practices/games in an ethical, fair, positive mannor. Too much to ask?
