Dan Rather is a lying hypocrite. He only fessed up to save himself the embarrassment of looking like an even bigger ass. At least he fessed up. Dick Cheney is still trying to deny reality. I still don't know how a Republican can blame Rather for anything while letting the administration off the hook. They were both working with bad information. It's not their fault if the sources were wrong. It's really amazing. Apparently, journalists are required to critically evaluate their sources of information, but when it comes to the president, he doesn't have to bother... |

Apparently, journalists are required to critically evaluate their sources of information, but when it comes to the president, he doesn't have to bother... The fact of the matter is CBS news was looking for a story, any story that would help the Kerry campaign out. They've seen Kerry sliding in the polls and were looking to give him a boost by trying to attack the President with phoney information. CBS news didn't care to authenticate the documents first, they jumped the gun and have now lost any remaining credibilty that it had. I told (R)uffda that CBS news and Tailban Dan were very biased in its news reporting, now the whole world knows that to be true.  |

Kerry has taken the lead in the electoral votes again, it must be about time for another terror threat warning in the US by GWB's team. Don't you mean the real "fact of the matter" is that GWB doesn't want the real truth about his treatment and actions in the national guard to be known? Nixon was thrashed for missing 18 minutes, Clinton for being honest about his avoiding Vietnam, but GWB lied in saying he was in support of the war in Vietnam but went into hiding to avoid it for "18 months" and none of the "conservatives" want to do anything but cover up the details. Bring out Kenny Starry to investigate all of GWB's actions from the past at the same level he did with Clinton's past. |
