The difference between Reagan and Clinton is that Reagan went on record and accepted responsibility for the Iran Contra affair, going as far as addressing the nation in a televised address. Clinton? We're still waiting. He took responsibility but no one ever held him accountable. He wasn't nicknamed Teflon for nothing. As for history, it depends on who is writing it. Unfortunately, it appears the Republican Revisionists are busy at work. Hell, even Viet Nam is no longer seen as the absolute mess, the absolute mistake, it was.

GWB can't be caught telling lies under oath if he refuses to say anything under oath, or behind closed doors with his Puppet Master Dicky sitting next to him.

History will define Reagan one of our best Presidents and both Clinton and Carter as two of our weakest. No doubt, Clinton is a good communicator ... he's just not truthful. The media allows him to say whatever he wants to say without questioning the accuracy. Clinton is a great liar. It's just like Koppel interviewing Moore tonight on Nightline ... why should we care anything about what Moore says when he clearly lies and is deceptive ... then acts like he has integrity. Koppel treated him like an expert. It would be a different world if journalists actually did their job.

With a liar of the level of GWB as president you're going to accuse Clinton of constantly telling lies?
Wow..
FWIW: Have you ever listen to any of the conservative show hosts that does the same sorts of things that Koppel did with Moore?
That's nothing new, nor is it only done by one party.
It is somewhat sad, however, it seems to be the en vogue thing to do in order to get one's pre-ordained point(s) across.
You watch / listen to them all when you haven't had a full meal ahead of time. Take a large grain of salt and see if there is anything worth noting before you switch to something more interesting.

Looks like it is time. Here goes:
Clinton: "I DID NOT HAVE SEXUAL RELATIONS WITH THAT WOMAN"
Hehehehe.

Even when their messages are good, the delivery pisses me off.

Even when their messages are good, the delivery pisses me off. I was standing in line at the post office a few weeks back while the guy in front of me was bending the ear of the lady in front him him regarding things politics. He was ripping on GWB, saying glowing things about Kerry. She was attentively listening to him. At some point he told her she ought to listen to a particular radio station because its pretty much straight middle of the road. The he mentioned Al Franken and I about "spit out my gum". I told him that Franken isn't exactly what I would consider middle of the road. Before a debate on the issue could take place two windows opened and they were both pulled from the line.
