www.nbcolympics.com/photos/galleryid=184069.htmlThe first pic has Dubya with the USA Volleyball Team, which NBC of course didn't identify -- they just said a general US Olympic Team caption. I believe there's another one somewhere in the middle as well.

Jenny's the only female head coach of all the VB teams participating. I think we all knew that already.

I believe Lang Ping is the only one. Huge volleyball player in 1984 Olympics. She is now the coach of the women's volleyball team

Great PR pics for W.
Wasn't he the first US president to attend the opening ceremony held outside the US?
I'm sure the athletes appreciated the support even though most of them (I'm guessing) don't support his administration. I'm still pissed every time I hear the reason why some people voted for W - "he's the type of fellow you'll love to have drinks with". Not really a valid reason to vote for the leader of the free world. Actually, it's an idiotic reason.

"he's the type of fellow you'll love to have drinks with". That was part of a sketch on the Daily Show or the Colbert Report. "This especially applies to our viewers in bars. Look around. See any presidents there?" I still have trouble believing that people voted for him because of that reason.

He supposedly quit partying when he "found" God. That's funny, I never knew he was lost.

Most Americans would not admit it now. But, most people voted for Bush because they could identify with him better. The other candidates were too "elitist". Just like you, I don't understand the logic behind that reasoning. First of all, I would rather have a President who is smarter than I am.
To qualify my statement though, Al Gore won the popular vote. But, 50% of Americans still voted for W (not just once, but twice!!!!) Those people should be paying more taxes to get us out of this hole W has taken us. Wouldn't that be the day?
