On second thought, maybe I'll have a Tootsie Roll.

The great thing about adverbaiting here is that VolleyTalk actually gets a decent PageRank at Google, so maybe eventually people doing a search on Peanut Butter will find themselves directed to a volleyball website and think, "What the hey?"
So, out of curiosity, has anyone tried making a sandwich by spreading one slice with peanut butter and one slice with just plain butter? Yum!

You have to try this one to believe it....
-Spread peanut butter on two slices of bread -sprinkle/ spread brown sugar on one of the slices - put the sandwich together and enjoy.
I like mine with a cold glass of milk. Yum.

The standard-sized Skippy peanut butter container has been downsized from 18 to 16.3 oz. That's just outrageous.

Here's a question for all the peanut butterers. Skippy, Jif, or Peter Pan?? I was raised on Jif so that's my pick.

Peanut butter-banana-mayonnaise sandwich. Delicious, and I'm far from adventurous when it comes to food.
When it comes to anything, now that I think about it.

Peanut butter-banana-mayonnaise sandwich. Delicious, and I'm far from adventurous when it comes to food. When it comes to anything, now that I think about it. I haven't tried it with mayonnaise, but the PB&B sandwich has been a family favorite for years. My mother loved them, and when I was a young'un she first got me to eat one by calling it "An Elvis Sandwich". I was probably in the last generation of kids who thought something associated with Elvis would be cool. There's this classic recipe from the Splendid Table: splendidtable.publicradio.org/recipes/main_pbsand.htmlElvis Presley's Grilled Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich2 slices of white bread 2 tablespoons of smooth peanut butter 1 small ripe banana mashed 2 tablespoons butter Spread the peanut butter on one slice of bread and the mashed banana on the other. Press the slices gently together. Melt the butter (or to be truly Elvis-like, melt bacon fat!), over low heat in a small frying pan. Place the sandwich in the pan and fry until golden brown on both sides. Eat it with a glass of buttermilk. Please note: Elvis tended to eat 12-15 sandwiches a sitting! So belly up!

Just like last summer, this board is running dangerously low on PEANUT BUTTER.
