If you notice, we both picked the same matches, EXCEPT the Cal Baptist vs USC match, so one way or another, one of us will prevail (or go down in flames together). I will get the MIVA/EIVA matchups posted ASAP. Lets limit it to Lewis, Loyola, OSU, Ball State, IPFW, and Quincy in the MIVA and Penn State, Rutgers, and George Mason out East...fair?

Tuesday, Feb. 25 Indiana-Purdue at Ohio State St. Friday, Feb. 28 Ohio State at Loyola
Quincy at Lewis
Indiana-Purdue at Ball State
Saturday, Mar. 1*Ohio State at Clarke
Quincy at Loyola
In these I take
IPFW over OSU...Young Buckeyes are better, but too much experience from IP.
Loyola over OSU...Only Lewis in the MIVA has been able to win at the toughest home court in the MIVA over the last 5 years. (IPFW, OSU, and Ball State haven't won there in YEARS)
Lewis over Quincy...Quincy doesn't have the guns to take Lewis.
Ball Sate over IPFW...Ball Stae needs to get back on track after losing to OSU last week.
OSU whips Clark...NEXT!
Loyola over Quincy...Hangover effect from big win over Buckeyes causes Loyola to drop a game, but not the match.
I'll get EIVA ASAP

Okay, my predictions are here. ANd look, I became a registered member!
BTW, I just wanna clear things up and be honest...last week vbcrusin stated that I came in second with 9 out of 12, but I went back and checked and I actually finished 8 out of 12, so there was a huge tie for second. I am not tryin to make vbcrusin look stupid, because I think we all know he isn't, I just wanted to be honest.
Anyway, here are mine for this week:

Irvine over Alumni (I am predicting EVERYTHING)

Watch out for "sneaky" UCLA who is coming back quietly. There are 13 posters who have giving me their choices. To vballah, I've rechecked your last week's record...I still get 9 wins - 3 losses for you, unless I recorded one of the matches wrong (a senior moment). If I'm not mistaken Quincy beat Loyola at their place in 2001 and 3 out of their 6 starters played in that match. So dont count the QU boys out. Loyola is very good, but the Quincy middles are better and when all the young kids in the team play and pass well, they are a very hard team to play against.

I didn't know Quincy had ever won there. I only knew that Ball State and Ohio State hadn't won there in a long time. I also know IPFW hadn't won there since Soto was on campus. Sorry about the slight.
Also, Quincy needs to finish in either A. Top 4 regular season or B. Semi-Finals of the MIVA tourney. Fact is...most of the country thinks there is no good volleyball happening east of Provo, so for an outsider like myself to start including Quincy in any serious MIVA talk they need to do A or B for me to respect them and keep tabs on who they have and have not beaten.
