I want a piece of cheesecake. Then I'll be at peace. (See how wrong it can get?)
This is a **V O L L E Y B A L L **** F O R U M ** the last time I checked. That is its strength, and that will bring people in and coming back. NOT, discussing world politics or organizing dress themes for people.
Besides, some people do not look good in white.
I understand your concerns and plight, but this is the wrong place to discuss them, in my opinion.

Hey IdahoBoy, Instead of war, let's form a volleyball game between Iraq & the USA...politicians only. Winner take all. Pres. Bush can be the Libero trying to dig & pass on all the kills. Former Gen. Colin Powell (setter) will set everyone perfectly for the quick kills. I like the tenacious Sen. Cain as the OH to put down some real hard volleyballs in Saddam's face. I don't think that Saddam has the vertical leap to do damage, but watch out for the timeouts (instead of water, he uses gas). I doubt if 6' 6" Bin Laden will show, so he'll send in a tape of himself jumping around...and hopefully, out of shape Teddy Kennedy will stay home. IdahoBoy, who else do you want on the USA squad? We need some "roofing" blocks...Sen. Fred Thompson looks like a big boy. Peace! Volleyball Fans.

Besides, some people do not look good in white. Just thought I'd add that if everyone was to wear white to a volleyball match, it would look like what the Hawaii crowd does once a year for the UH men's basketball team. There was about 9,000+ people wearing white, and it looked like to me some kind of religious cult gathering. Kind of freaky actually.

Tony Blair will start at opposite for team USA, and James Baker has decided to come out of retirement and play MB for the Stars and Stripes alongside Donald Rumsfeld. Joining team Iraq will be Blockers Jacque Chirac and Gerhard Schroder, Dick Gephardt at leftside, and Starting at setter..... Hillary Clinton .

Team USA will be coached by Henry Kissinger while Iraq is lead by the reincarnated zombie team of Stalin and assistant Pol Pot.

Don't forget Strom Thurmond at libero. Deceptively quick and really gets down on the floor. The problem is getting back up, I hear.

President Bush was trying to reach Yoda on Dagobah, but doesn't know the area code. The President has heard about Yoda's amazing volleyball skills and thought he would be an asset to team USA. Secretary Powell was overheard trying to convince President Bush that Yoda is no longer amongst us, But the Good President refuses to believe it, apparently he has only seen Attack of the Clones.
In other news Martin Sheen and Susan Sarandon have volunteered to officiate the match, but were turned down in favor of Joe Millionaire and Former VP Dan Quayle.
Strom Thurmond's eligibility is still pending, Results of his pre match physical are not yet available. Henry Kissinger, cognizant of Thurmond's inability to recover after he is on the floor; is hoping that Thurmond is declared ineligible.
Kim Jong Il had offered to play for team Iraq, but refused to play the only position that Hussein had offered him....Libero. Upset over Hussein's insult, Kim Jong Il challenged Hussein to a name calling contest after the match.

I had a feeling Yoda would end up in this thread one way or another. I almost put him in last night, but deleted my thread instead.

Thanks Crusin, I must admit that I owe it all to cartoons. Whatever knowledge and creativity I have, likely stem from my many years of Cartoon viewing . Listening to Handel , Brahms, and Mozart at a young age doesen't hurt either . I am a good conversationalist. My conversation skills developed over years of arguing with my siblings, and ex girlfriends. Don't know when I'll be in California, perhaps in the fall, but if you're ever in Hawai'i, I'll show you where all the bikins are .
