I am debating whether or not to go to the finals tomorrow. The only reason I'd go is to take pictures because it's not fun watching the matches in Pauley unless your in the first 5 rows. Anyways, here are pics from the semis...I got lazy and made the pages the easy way www.ch0p.com/haysuess/semis/semis.htmlThey are all big but I like it that way so you should too.

Nice pics.
I see Mr. Ricardo Olmstead was the R2 for the Pepp/OSU match. I also see that on every play on the net, his eyes are looking at the wrong area of the net. LOL. Stop following the ball, Rick, you're not the R1 you're the R2, silly.
Gawd, I hope he's not the R1 for the final.

It's sweet. It was my first time using it so I had to get used to it and after seeing the outcome of these I can make future ones much better. The yellow floor made the auto shutter speed too fast so i had to brighten a lot of pictures and do some noise reduction etc so...if I go tomorrow they'll be better. I only used up to about 135mm zoom(it goes to 200mm x1.6 = equivalent to 320mm) and I was at the top of the 2nd section. Even if I sat at the very top I could use it well

Digital Rebel modified to work as a 10D. Camera doesn't really matter though(as long as it's DSLR). It's the lens. But the Canon's are the best I've used as far as noise/features/ergonomics/basically everything. 2nd is Nikons...

Agreed, thanks for posting your pics! I was one of the posters who asked to see them and appreciate you sharing them with us. I hope you go to the finals tomorrow to get some more great shots! P.S. - who is the hottie in pink (with her hands on her hips) in picture #11?

I got bored, and didn't feel like crashing stats pages to do more women's volleyball stuff.... as I looked through these pages, I kept enjoying looking at the people in the stands (hopefully I don't insult you WillRogersBeach) and made a small image.... please take no offense, it's most all in good humor. By the way, that is a sweet lens and camera setup you have, sjhaysuess, thanks for sharing!

LOL! Funny captions.
In pic #11, the women in pink were mostly members of the women's volleyball team. But, I don't know the one you're referring to. I can only name 3 of them - Rachell Johnson (holding paper), Jessica Fine (talking on phone) and Katie Carter (behind Johnson).
Idaho Boy, did you see Liz Masakayan (on your pic with captions). She's sitting on row 5 (end of the middle aisle). She's wearing a dirty white blouse/shirt.

Hmm, I assume a picture is supposed to appear in your last post IB; however all I get is my screen resized (to HUGE) for no good reason! If you were going to "blow something up", why not use my reference from above!
