No question. Super Spike was the best. Best played with a NES Satellite for four-player action. (Too bad I can't get my old NES to work.) I wish they would remake this for the Wii or something. I ran across a screenshot of Nintendo's 1989 Super Spike V Ball and it reminded me of the hours I spent playing that game. Is there a best or favorite volleyball video game out there?

Although I'm biased, as I've never played the other vb games, I have gotten 'non-volleyball' fans/players to play super spike with us on my old nes....which still works from time to time. In fact, back in my playing days, if someone went up for an attack and whiffed or hit an easy down ball, someone would often yell, "Why didn't you press 'B'" (pressing the 'B' button repeatedly would elicit the 'super spike' onto your opponent, and you could knock anyone over if they tried to block)

Anyone remember the arcade standup game that was a 6 man indoor setting? If you held the jump button for the right length of time you could pack some one in the face and them curled up in a ball. Ah yes, I remember that game fondly!! ;D
