Do you think Justices Alito and Roberts who were put on the court by G.W are there because they were the best qualified for that position and its just an incredible coincidence that both are Conservative, White, Males? If Sotomayor is a liberal activist that is a good thing so as to off set the two conservative activist G.W put on the court.

Yup, white males haven't done a damn thing for this country or the world for that matter. Basically they are a dying breed. People like Albert Einstein, Neil Armstrong, Ben Franklin, etc. Latina females are the wave of the future because their life experiences clearly trump white males.

Read her quote in context hammer and then tell me you honestly think that she claims that her life experience trumps that of white males. That is *not* what she said and anybody trotting that out as a criticism of her is being disingenuous, at best.

And all those "white" men were at least born from women, unless you go all the way back to Adam. So any "white" men who think their life experiences trump those of any women, obviously weren't properly raised by their Mothers.

Interesting three white males you chose. Einstein was a scientist did his best to avoid politics. Armstrong was basically a figurehead who had 15 minutes of fame, but he represented a lot of other people (likely mostly white males) who did a lot to contribute to the greater good. But this contribution was mostly in science, not politics. Franklin is a really interesting example. Politically he was one of a group of people who decided that their current government (King George III) wasn't doing much for them, so they decided to give it the boot (sound familiar?)! He was a rich entrepreneur, so in today's world he may very well be a Republican, but his actions at the time seem more like today's minorities.

OK sheep..
Tell me how being a Latino, POOR, Woman makes HER COURT DECISION OVER GUN CONTROL AND THE AND THE 2 ND AMENDMENT BETTER ?
HER court ruled GUN ownership under the constitution does not go beyond the federal level.
OK TURD BUTTS...
HISTORICALLY.
LATINOS have not been allowed to own guns in their home countries.
WOMEN ..HISTORICALLY are far less likely to own a firearm ..or participate in shooting sports than MALES..
LIBERALS ...in GENERAL BELIEVE IN STRICT GUN RULES.. WHITE MALES ( conservatives..) in particular are far more likely to OWN and want gun ownership and believe in STATES rights.
THEREFORE WE ARE MORE LIKELY TO BE DISCRIMINATED AGAINST BY HER LIBERAL, WOMANS VIEWS.
I GAVE you a Historical court case..her rulings and why ANYONE who believes that THIS liberal, Latino, woman would use HISTORICAL EVIDENCE to base their COURT CASES...and decide using the constitution...
SHE IS USING HER EMOTION and POLITICAL PAYBACK TO INFLUENCE THAT CASE...REWARDING THOSE WHO Support HER.
GUILTY as CHARGED!
IT'S A FACT ...
NOW spin away and call me names.

Bill, you still haven't read what she said. Do not post again on this topic until you do.

Here you go. I'll make it easy for you. Talking pictures. Please note that even CNN, when they supposedly try to put this in context, don't even manage to put it in context.

That's Alito. It's in the clip. Thomas has said similar things, too.

Nah--it's easy to find worse political hacks than Tancredo.
...and that's a sad, sad statement right there.

Anyway, ANY decision by the Supreme Court on ANYTHING would be better served if decided upon by a diversified Supreme Court, rather than a Supreme Court made up of only OLD WHITE MEN. If you believe an OLD WHITE MAN can reach the best decision as well as ANYONE else on ANY MATTER, then why have 9 of them to begin with? Why not only have 1 OLD WHITE MAN, like King Solomon, decide everything all by himself?
