Shame on you, Vbcruz for thinking that UCI will "spank" the 49ers....my, my, my. To the rest of you, finally there are some Beach believers although some reluctantly(mvbdad) Sweetievbfan, I will report to T Hildebrand that you are not picking his team this week. Here is this week for me. I may not be first place but I am at least consistently close. Lewis over SC...I'm an ex bruin, gotta go with it UOP over Stanford...Wachtfogel is on fire LBSU over UCI...surprised, anyone? Pepp over UCSB UCI over UCSD...but the Tritons will upset someone soon CSUN over USC BYU over Concordia Lewis over UCLA...upset of the week UH over LoyolaChi UOP over Findlay, I join the crowd, Findlay who? Pepp over CSUN UCLA over UCI...don't under estimate revenge UCSB over USC BYU over Penn UH over LoyolaChi Stanford over Lewis Concordia over UCSD, this will make their season UOP over Lewis BYU over Penn Stanford over someone, I think Findlay I only count 20 games, not 21 so let me know which one I am missing. Does anyone else think VBcruz has all this done on a spreadsheet and perhaps needs to have more kids to keep busy ;D Actually, thanks for doing all this, it makes it even more exciting to follow mens vball. I would jump into the MIVA/EIVA arena if you post the games.

I can always count on Beachy for a hard time. Hi Beachy...I had a senior moment and posted 21 games (I posted Long Beach @ Northridge in error). There are 20 games. Sorry about the "UCI spanks Long Beach" remark...I call it like I see it. Actually, I like both teams and feel that LB is the team of the future. Since they are in close proximity to me, and since my other son will attend Long Beach for his Master's, I may be rooting for the 49ers as well in the future (Incidentally, my oldest son played at LB in the Alan Knipe playing era). I enjoy watching UCI Anteaters(formerly known as the "Artichokes"), because they were the underdogs for a long time. They started out strong, but somehow they're losing their emotional steam. They're due to win again. Thanks for the comments that "vbcrusin needs more kids to keep him busy"...no more kids, but I'll have my 2nd granddaughter at the end of this month. ;D As far as the Prognostigator Contest, I feel it's fun and it forces everyone to examine ALL the teams in the league...strengths and weaknesses. To be a TRUE volleyball fan, you must appreciate all the teams and players, not just your hometeam. It makes for better viewing, informed fan comments and adds to an already exciting season. I appreciate ALL you volleyball fans...whether you agree with me or not. Incidentally, Roofan has challenged me to predict the MIVA & EIVA matches...last week, he did 14-1 and I had 12-3, of course he lives somewhere out in the boondocks of the MidWest...probably in Mayberry with Barney Fife. Personally speaking, I feel that Roofan is jealous, because he would like to be vbcrusin (tee hee)and live on the West Coast.

Sweetievbfan, I will report to T Hildebrand that you are not picking his team this week. oh please don't! i had to go with my gut, and while i think that lbsu is strong right now, i still think pelzel and company will beat out a younger lbsu team. but i'm glad that t hildebrand will be around for four more years. you can tell him that!

Vbcrusin
Hey buddy...haven't had time to look at the MIVA schedule this week. Lets put it off this week, since the MPSF and MIVA square off anyway.
Besides...It looks like I'm in a lot of trouble over the next few days!!! ;D
